When you use rubber cement, you glue something down so it stays in place. You don’t expect it to move or change or shift. People can do the same thing when it comes to their thoughts, patterns, and habits. They get stuck.

The number one reason that prevents people from moving forward or reinventing their lives is because they’ve nailed things down. They’ve glued themselves in place, which is just like stepping in rubber cement. They’ve conditioned their mind to remain in place.

Every situation you are in began with a thought and/or action which then became a habit. Those habits morphed into routines. Those routines grew into lifestyles. Over time, it became woven into the fabric of your being.

Congratulations! Time to celebrate! You’ve put parts of your life on auto-pilot.

However, what happens when who you’ve become, and what you believe, doesn’t suit you as well any more? You feel stuck. Like you’re in rubber cement!

News Flash 💥

You still get to celebrate! You have the opportunity to take new thoughts, new actions and start over. They’ll become habits, then routines, will grow into a lifestyle and BOOM 💥... you’ve recreated and reinvented a new paradigm for it. It FLOWS and is not STUCK anymore.

When you are fluid, your ideas and your thoughts are not exactly set in place. The ability to be fluid is the foundational core of reinvention. If you think of your life more like water…whether as the rushing of a river, the waves of an ocean, or the trickling of a stream — any one of those forces of water shifts around the rock, over the stuck place, by the obstacle, over the object, and past the boulder that won’t move. By being fluid, water reacts to forces in life by shifting its course. You can do the same. If you think of yourself as water, as fluid, as something that moves, then it’s easier to achieve, change, and reinvent. 🌊🌟 #embracechange
